Atlas9

Primary Focus:
Executive Producer | Executive Production | Experience Design & Systems Integration | Immersive Entertainment

I served as the sole producer for Atlas9, a $26.7 million, 48,000-square-foot immersive entertainment destination that was built entirely from the ground up. What began as a pile of dirt became a fully realized world where guests don’t just experience the story, they become part of it.

Set inside a once-beloved 1990s movie theater, Atlas9 tells the story of a brilliant projectionist whose greatest invention, the HoloMax, accidentally brought movies to life. The explosion unleashed cinematic anomalies into the real world, prompting the creation of F.A.C.A.D.E., a secret government agency responsible for containing them. Every guest enters as a newly recruited agent, uncovering what happened on the day the HoloMax exploded through interactive gameplay, live performances, cinematic storytelling, puzzles, hidden clues, responsive technology, and immersive environments.

As the sole producer, I led the project from concept through launch, overseeing the integration of creative vision, technical execution, and operational planning across every aspect of the experience. I partnered with writers, creative directors, engineers, developers, fabricators, AV specialists, artists, performers, and marketers to ensure every discipline worked together to create one cohesive story world.

A core part of my role was translating narrative into reality. I helped bring the world of Atlas9 to life through projection mapping, RFID technology, interactive systems, responsive environments, original film content, environmental storytelling, and live entertainment, ensuring every guest interaction reinforced the story and encouraged exploration. Every creative and technical decision was made with one goal in mind: making guests feel like they were living inside the movie rather than simply watching it.

Beyond the creative execution, I managed budgets, schedules, production planning, vendor partnerships, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the multi-year development process. My role was to keep dozens of disciplines aligned while balancing creative ambition with technical feasibility, operational readiness, and an exceptional guest experience.

Following launch, I continued leading the evolution of Atlas9 through live operations, seasonal programming, content production, marketing initiatives, and ongoing experience enhancements that kept the attraction fresh and gave guests new reasons to return.

Atlas9 was recognized by USA Today as the #2 Best New Attraction in the United States. More importantly, it stands as an example of what’s possible when storytelling, technology, and production come together to create an experience that guests don’t just visit, but actively live.
